Meet Tyler Lindsay! This guy never ceases to amaze! At Jefferson City CrossFit we really take pride in our community! We have seriously the best people that show up day in and day out! The number of couples, and family members that work out together is pretty phenomenal. As our growing membership hits all time highs, it is amazing to look and see the number that has become and the population of spouses. I remember over two years ago, when Tyler walked in the doors to our gym. Serious face on, and really not sure about what he was getting himself into. His wife Sami by his side, and she came to support and as you read further, they both became hooked really fast!
Without further ado just last night hitting a 20+lb PR on his Push Press!

Tell us some about your journey, greatest accomplishments. Like what was your reason for starting, why you stuck with it? What makes you keep coming back? Please be detailed. 🙂 My reason for starting was that Coach Travis finally bugged me enough to come try a class. I think we did wall balls, which sucked, but I felt a great accomplishment after I was done. I was actually late for a kickball game and when I showed up I immediately kicked a 3 run homer! I was hooked. I keep coming back because I love the community. I never expected to make so many friends that I can see outside the box and have a great time with. I’ve become stronger and faster and I’m definitely in the best shape of my life. It also feels great to have people ask me for advice or tips on certain lifts or movements. It shows that my hard work has paid off and that I can help others.
