“Run your own race. Don’t waste time comparing yourself to others just show up every day and do your best. The gains will come. Also, listen to the trainers. They have such wisdom and knowledge. Embrace the community. You will find friends here.” -Beth

Tell us some about your journey and greatest accomplishments. Beginning CrossFit was a huge step out of my comfort zone. I was not an athlete growing up but I know the importance of health and wellness and take it very seriously. Having my 3 boys join me at the box is also very special. Alex and I had a blast competing in the OPEN together and will be back under Friday Night Lights this year.
My first CrossFit competition was at CrossFit Believe in Warrensburg, MO. Scott and Alex competed too. It was awesome. I’d love to do another.
If you could give any advice for a person new to CrossFit, what would it be?: “Run your own race. Don’t waste time comparing yourself to others just show up every day and do your best. The gains will come. Also, listen to the trainers. They have such wisdom and knowledge. Embrace the community. You will find friends here.
